Welcome to Coaches Corner! We've created this area as a place for our coaches to have an on-line presence for our coaching staff. Our attempt, as coaches, is to give our swimmers the most up-to-date information on etiquette, technique, turns, racing or anything else involved with master's swimming.
We're always here to help ... and remember, every question is a good question!
Lane Pace Clock
DSST swims in SCY (Short Course Yards) and LCM (Long Course Meters) pools. The chart that follows is a Fitness Pace Clock. It is an excellent reference tool for any swimmer that wants to maintain an even pace in minutes and seconds for set distances from 100 yards to 1 hour.
Note: The times given to each lane are calculated in SCY and may vary based on the swimmers in the pool.
